My name is Alicia. I love to make things.
I live with my irrepressible husband, Andy, a sweet
Cardigan corgi puppy named Clover Meadow, and two bossy
kitties. We play house in a little chocolate-brown cottage
in Portland, Oregon, with a neglected rose garden in
front and a featherbed-topped hammock out back.
I spend my days in my home studio sewing, crocheting,
embroidering, and designing crafts. When I'm not doing
those things I'm usually taking pictures, cooking something,
eating something, or . . . watching television. Frequently
I watch cooking shows on television while eating something.
I love horses, country fairs, the Oregon coast, apples,
rock walls, Adirondack chairs, vintage china, fancy
grocery stores, Miss Marple, cashmere-blend yarns, Thai
food, vanilla, Puget Sound, Peter Pan collars, heart-shaped
waffles, Scandinavian import stores, hot coffee, good
conversation, laughing children, and old friends.
Thank you for visiting my web site. I'm
so happy to have you here!
