Hand-Dyed Yarn Skein: Parasol
SOLD OUT
Parasol is a cloudy gray mixed with bright pink, coral, and violet, speckled with peacock blue, golden brown, copper, and olive green.
I've dyed it on a gently twisted 3-ply fingering-weight base of 75% Corriedale wool and 25% nylon produced in the United Kingdom. This base makes a sturdy, hard-wearing sock, but is also soft enough to have a smooth texture with a bit of halo.
After dyeing, I rinse all yarns in cool water then soak them with Eucalan wool wash.
This is superwash yarn. Nevertheless, I recommend hand-washing in cool water and laying flat to dry out of direct sunlight.
