Hand-Dyed Yarn Skein: Foxglove
Foxglove is a mixture of lavender, mint green, and pinky creams, speckled with copper, deep eggplant-black, and a bit of olive.
I've dyed it on a gently twisted 3-ply fingering-weight base of 75% Corriedale wool and 25% nylon produced in the United Kingdom. This base makes a sturdy, hard-wearing sock, but is also soft enough to have a smooth texture with a bit of halo.
After dyeing, I rinse all yarns in cool water then soak them with Eucalan wool wash.
This is superwash yarn. Nevertheless, I recommend hand-washing in cool water and laying flat to dry out of direct sunlight.
