Hand-Dyed Mini Yarn Skein: Pink Lemonade

Pink Lemonade is mostly light and bright pinks with roasted lemon yellow, streaky with navy and peacock blues, and freckled with green, red, and burgundy.

I've dyed it on a base of Briggs & Little Sport, a single ply, 100% wool yarn from Canada's oldest woolen mill, Briggs & Little. The hundred-and-fifty-year-old mill still washes wool with water from the Magaguadavic River and spins it into this rustic, toothy, minimally processed yarn. A bit rough, this yarn takes on color beautifully and knits into light, lofty, if somewhat scratchy pieces.

After dyeing, I rinse all yarns in cool water then soak them with Eucalan wool wash.

This is non-superwash yarn. Please hand-wash in cool water and lay flat to dry.
