Hand-Embroidered Pendant: English Daisy Large
English Daisy. Bellis perennis. I love all varieties of this sweet flower. The name "daisy" may comes from the phrase "day's eye," because the whole head closes at night and opens in the morning. Chaucer called it "eye of the day."
Hand-embroidered with hand-dyed embroidery floss on black Kona cotton and mounted on a 40x50mm (1.6"x2.0") nickel-free, lead-free brass pendant tray in antique bronze. Antique bronze metal chain is 20" (51cm) long with a 12mm lobster clasp.
