These sweet little ornaments are perfect for when you want to make a quick present for a friend. Finish by mounting them on cardstock with pretty calicos and gingham ribbons, and don’t forget to attach a charm on the back to mark the year. *Note: 2023 charms are now included with kits, even though 2022 charm is what is pictured.
This piece is stitched on 32-count linen (that's 16 stitches per inch) with two-plies of DMC six-ply cotton embroidery floss.
Finished size of design area: 2.19"w x by 2.19"h (5cm x5cm); 35 stitches wide x 35 stitches high on 32-count fabric
This kit contains:
- One 6.5" x 18" (16cm x 46cm) piece of 32-count Belfast linen from Zweigart in Stone Gray
- (19) 24" (61cm) lengths of various colors of DMC 6-ply cotton embroidery floss
- Two cardstock pieces, out of which you must cut:
- Four 2.5" x 2.5" (6.5cm x 6.5cm) squares
- Eight 3" x 3" (8cm x 8cm) squares
- Four calico fabric pieces, out of each of which you must cut:
- Two 4" x 4" (10cm x 10cm) squares (so, you’ll have eight pieces of calico when you’re done)
- One piece of 100% cotton quilt batting, out of which you must cut:
- Four 2.5" x 2.5" (6.5cm x 6.5cm) squares
- 1 yard of 5mm-wide gingham ribbon in pink
- 1 yard of 5mm-wide gingham ribbon in dark red
- Four 2023 charms, and four 8mm jump rings
- Stitching and ornament-making instructions with photos
- Color cross-stitch charts with symbols
- One piece of chipboard for creating a floss organizer
