Botanical Wax Sachet
I first started working with beeswax and essential oils last year when I began making lotion bars, and my interest in these ingredients is just beginning. While researching new molds for my lotion bars I discovered several Japanese artists making these lovely wax sachets.
These are my version. They are a mixture of gorgeous local beeswax and soy wax, lightly scented with essential oils, tinted with pigments and clays, and decorated with dried flowers and other botanical ingredients. Tied with a French gingham ribbon fed through brass eyelets, these sachets can be hung in a closet to freshen your space or in a window to catch the light.
I have created four different scent-blends to choose from:
Lavender and Mint: clean, sharp, and refreshing
Bergamot and Grapefruit: bright and citrus-y
Ylang Ylang and Jasmine: springy and floral
Cedarwood and Fir: earthy, woodsy
Each sachet is unique. Because I make each one of these by hand with various botanical elements, it's really hard for me to completely replicate specific designs. So I've decided to offer these with only limited options: You may choose your scent, and whether you would like a Ring or a Disc. Let me create the color, the floral design, and add the ribbon for you. These photos show a general idea of what your sachet will look like, though I may use any of the ingredients pictured. I promise, whatever I choose, it will be really pretty and smell lovely.
